The build to WrestleMania 29 is in full swing, and it’s time for the WWE to give credit where it’s due and give stars like Mark Henry and Chris Jericho the chance to shine on the company’s marquee stage.

Add in another talented performer like The Miz, who has worked hard to transform himself into the good guy the WWE is looking for, and these three WWE Superstars deserve the honor of being featured on the 2013 WrestleMania card.

The company understands the value of all of the following performers, and the WWE Universe should expect to see this stars showcased at the biggest show of them all.

The Miz

It wasn’t long ago that The Miz main-evented WrestleMania (2011) and retained the WWE Championship against John Cena, albeit with a little help from The Rock.

While there is no way the company can push The Miz to that main-event level for WrestleMania 29, allowing him to face Antonio Cesaro and recapture the United States Championship is a great start to a huge push in 2013.

The Miz is not the best in-ring worker and can be categorized as sloppy at times, but his mainstream appeal and the fact that his face character is starting to gain some traction are great signs for the future.

If the WWE wants to see how great Miz can be again, giving him the win and the U.S. title at WrestleMania is the perfect next step.

Mark Henry

Mark Henry is arguably the most dominant heel in the WWE right now, and his character is as interesting at this point of his career as it has ever been.

With everything going right for Henry, the veteran must shine at WrestleMania.

Henry doesn’t have to win his match—he can put over Ryback in an amazing show of strength and ability—but as long as he looks like a dominant monster on the biggest stage of them all, the World’s Strongest Man will be setting up another possible run at a championship in 2013.

Certain members of the WWE Universe have scoffed at the idea of having Henry vs. Ryback as one of the billed matchups, but they are perfect for each other.

The two powerhouses will make each other look amazing, and the match will be one of the best all night, likely ending with Ryback hitting a huge Shellshock on Henry for the win.

Chris Jericho

There is no part-time veteran—other than The Undertaker—that deserves a big match on the WrestleMania 29 card more than Chris Jericho. The groundwork has been set for another chapter against Dolph Ziggler, and that’s a match many in the WWE Universe are perfectly fine with.

This potential bout would feature two of the best workers in the business trying to one-up each other on the WrestleMania stage. The match has five-star potential.

Jericho has helped the WWE so much since returning to the company, and putting over a fresh face and helping to set the stage for Mr. Money in the Bank’s eventual cash-in attempt is something the veteran will have no problem doing.

Just another reason Y2J is one of the greatest of all time.
