I wanted to take a minute and make some preseason baseball predictions:

Oh wait the season started last night, So I guess I am cheating but I am going to do it anyway.

Here are the picks for Division and Wildcard winners. Fly to Vegas boys and girls, these picks are gold!

NL

East: Philadelphia Phillies

Central: Chicago Cubs

West: Arizona Diamondbacks

Wild Card: New York Mets (Although people think the Braves will be solid this year, the Wild Card belongs to the Mets, and will belong to the NL East for many years to come)

NLCS: Phils/Backs—Phillies win in six

AL

East: Boston Red Sox

Central: Detroit Tigers

West: Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim

Wild Card: Cleveland Indians

ALCS: Detroit over LA in seven

World Series

Detroit in six over the Phightin' Phils

MVPs

AL: Miguel Cabrera

NL: Ryan Howard with 60 home runs

Cy Young

AL: Erik Bedard, Seattle Mariners

NL: Brandon Webb, D-backs

Here is to a fun year! 161 to go!
