If you care anything about the brick wall surrounding your house, you may just want to let Colorado lineman Samson Kafovalu into your party.
What followed is usually relegated to Kool-Aid commercials, because Kafovalu broke down a wall while leaving.
The security guard said Kafovalu was not on the list for the party and was not allowed in. He continued to try to force his way into the party and began shouting. At one point the guard said Kafovalu yelled out, "Don't (expletive) do this (expletive), I'll (expletive) kill you," according to the report.
While his friends were trying to push him back, Kafovalu bumped into a short brick wall and knocked part of it over, causing $300 in damage according to the fraternity, according to police.
The only thing missing would be a report that he shouted "Oh Yeah!" before leaving.
Officers were called to the Kappa Sigma fraternity and found a frustrated Kafovalu. He explained his plight with, "Gonna go home...they wouldn't let me into the party, so they were pushing me out."
Some of you more locked in fans may have guessed the next part in this report, but we feel the need to type it anyway.
The 19-year-old appeared to be intoxicated and reportedly blew a .120 on the breathalyzer, more than the legal limit to drive but just the right amount to break down a brick wall.
For those uninitiated, the freshman seemed to have had a solid season and "played in 10 games in his freshman year for CU in 2012, recording 20 tackles and one sack."
Both the Athletic Department and the Office of Student Conduct have been notified by the Boulder Police Department and are doing their own investigations. At that point, they said they will they deliver any necessary discipline.
For my part, a picture of the brick wall really is needed.
Was this just some dilapidated structure that was going down with the slightest shove, or did Kofovalu take down a sturdy wall?
In any case, preseason practice may have to feature brick walls, because it sounds like this young man graduated from regular tackling dummies.
