Its disclosure time again. If you are not a fan of spoilers, there is no need to read any further.

Especially if you are looking forward to all that WWE has in store for Saturday Morning Slam.

All right, now with that out of the way, it's time to get down to business.

According to PWMania.com:

Booker T revealed at Tuesday’s WWE Saturday Morning Slam tapings from Oklahoma City that the new General Manager for SMS will be 2013 Hall of Famer Mick Foley.

Based on WWE’s earlier announcement, a new General Manager that will be a Superstar will be named in a few weeks. It appears Foley is just a temporary GM.

Personally, I have yet to watch this show. However, I may finally have a short term reason to tune in. Ultimately, I was pretty surprised that the company wanted an authority figure for this show.

Overall, the show is pretty popular and does well in its time-slot, but does it really warrant a G.M.?

Well, apparently the WWE thinks so.

That being said, the company has used this formula for years and it seems to work, so I guess it makes sense to have its newest show follow suit.

Now this may sound crazy, but I am hopeful that someone like Zack Ryder or Santino Marrella wins this tournament. In the long run, both men should provide some solid entertainment for its viewers. To me, it seems only fitting to have a comedic star in an authority role, especially since we aren't talking about Raw or SmackDown,

In the end, the next few weeks should be interesting. Let’s just hope the company doesn't drop the ball on this one and supplies us with some compelling Saturday morning TV.
