WWE Raw: The Undertaker, Punk-Cena and 5 Things to Watch For

0 of 5

WWE Raw emanates from Dallas, Texas Monday night.  Despite being on the road to WrestleMania, the only confirmed match for the PPV appears to be in question—Jack Swagger vs. Alberto Del Rio.

Monday night's Raw should provide more clarity to the WrestleMania picture to give the WWE ample time to build to pivotal matches with just a handful of weeks before the biggest show of the year.

1. Brad Maddox's New Gig

Brad Maddox resurfaced last week on Raw as an assistant authority figure to Vickie Guerrero.  The WWE is already teasing tension between the two as there was a discrepancy as to what level of assistant Brad Maddox would be.

Surely this couldn't lead to an inter-gender WrestleMania match between Maddox and Guerrero for the role of GM of Raw.  Could it?

2. Mark Henry Isn't Really Going to Face Khali...is He?

Mark Henry has been the hottest wrestler in the WWE.  He somehow managed to get even hotter after losing in the Elimination Chamber.

His ensuing rampage inside the chamber took half of WWE's administrative staff to put out, and created a stunning visual for his monster heel persona.

But the following night on Raw, Henry was booked to go over Sin Cara, which is fine.  However after the match, The Great Khali hit the ring to engaged in a stare down with Henry.  Hopefully Henry's appearance on Raw this week is not again blown on the creative wasteland that is The Great Khali.

3. Jack Swagger, Jack Swagger, Jack Swagger...

Jack Swagger's arrest had the wrestling world buzzing, but it is the WWE's silence on the situation that has made it even more intriguing.

Monday will likely be the first live TV appearance Jack Swagger will make since being arrested following a SmackDown taping.  It'll be interesting to see if there are any changes in the "we the people" booking pattern.

4. Will The Undertaker Return?

Monday is set up perfectly for The Undertaker to make his long-awaited return to the WWE.  The Phenom came back at a recent house show in Waco, Texas.  He is right on schedule to make his annual part-time appearance in the WWE.

With CM Punk currently without a dance partner for WrestleMania, perhaps The Undertaker will make his return after the scheduled Punk-Cena main event.

5. What Will Be the Finish to Punk-Cena?

The Undertaker's status for WrestleMania is in doubt, and CM Punk is currently without a Mania opponent.  It seemed like the Punk-Cena No. 1 contender's match could have been setting up for a triple-threat match for the WWE title at WrestleMania.

There are still plenty of uncertainties regarding Punk's opponent at WrestleMania, but by the end of the night this mystery will likely be solved.
