As the crowd fell silent, a slightly emotional Kobe looked back at the vision that Dr. Buss had throughout his days with the Lakers, speaking of his constant desire to not only put a winning team on the court, but one that would also be recognizable worldwide.
Bryant finished up his speech with a look up at the seat Dr. Buss would sit in for home games as the crowd fell silent.

The Lakers also put up an extended video tribute before the game, and aside from the cheesy Green Day song, it was quite heartfelt and interesting.
