Potential Spoilers for Raw

WWE is in Louisiana right now (for both last night’s Elimination Chamber pay-per-view and Monday’s episode of Raw), and there may be a party of Mardi Gras proportions on this week’s show.

According to the Facebook page of MMA fighter Gil Guillory, WWE is looking for Mardi Gras floats for a celebration on Monday’s episode of Raw:

Ok friends I know this sounds weird but the WWE is coming to Lafayette tomorrow night and they've asked me to help them find a Mardi gras float for the TV show tomorrow night. I need a few of them. Let me know if you have a float and can send me pics for them to see. Thanks guys.

WWE has always been known for blowing its shows out, and the idea of having floats at or around the arena is something that is right up the company’s alley. Let’s hope the final result is as interesting as the hype that surrounds this reported angle.

The WrestleMania 29 Homestretch

Now that the 2013 edition of Elimination Chamber is out of the way, there is nothing standing between the WWE Universe and WrestleMania 29, other than the typical episodes of Raw and Smackdown. If the last two months are any gauge of how the next six weeks will go, the fans are in for an amazing homestretch to the company’s biggest show.

Question on Everyone’s Mind: Will WrestleMania 29 One-Up WrestleMania 28?

The 2012 show was great, but this year’s event has just as much potential to be a PPV the fans never forget. Not only will the WWE Universe get the rematch of The Rock and Cena that many wanted, there are so many unknowns leading into the build that the intrigue over what will happen next has even casual wrestling fans tuning into find out what’s going to happen.

Hype Meter: 5 out of 5 Monumental Builds

Elimination Chamber was a great show, but its sole purpose was to further storylines heading into the final stretch before WrestleMania 29. With the company going all-in on Sunday’s PPV, imagine the surprises the company not only has in store for Monday’s episode of Raw but the entire homestretch. It’s a great time to be a wrestling fan.

Building Off a Night of Surprises

The build to WrestleMania will be amazing, but it will be so great because of the results from Sunday’s PPV. Between Jack Swagger stunning the world and winning the No. 1 contendership to the world title and The Shield beating the three biggest faces in the company, this show has set the stage for WrestleMania 29 perfectly.

Question on Everyone’s Mind: Did Elimination Chamber Get You Excited for WrestleMania?

The groundwork has been laid for one of the most intriguing periods in wrestling history, and the way the Elimination Chamber PPV was booked has a lot to do with the hype. The company blows out every WrestleMania bigger than the last, but the predictability around the WWE title match hurt the aura of the show a bit.

Now, with so many swerves, the excitement level is as high as it has ever been.

Hype Meter: 4 out of 5 Can’t Miss Episodes of Raw

Monday is setting up to be one of the most exciting shows of 2013, and the possibility of huge returns for the road to WrestleMania—superstars like The Undertaker or Triple H—has the WWE Universe ready to explode. If there was ever a time for a monumental swerve, Monday’s edition of Raw would be the ideal spot.
