April brings new hope in the air—the weather is warming, the flowers are blooming, the birds are singing, but, most importantly, the NBA Playoffs are starting.

Players, coaches, and fans alike have dreams about deep runs into the playoffs, with possibly an NBA Championship in June.

What else do NBA fans dream about?  Do you ever have dreams about NBA games or players?

When I was a little girl, I would have dreams that I was married to John Stockton. In my dream, I didn't really care about being married to him, but I loved that I was able to go to all the games and sit front row. I met the players, went to practice, etc.

A few years ago, a few weeks before the 2007 NBA Playoffs began, I dreamt that Dirk Nowitzki was a friend of ours. He came to our house to watch a few playoff games with us.  While watching the game, it dawned on me that the playoffs were on and the Mavericks were the favorite to win the West.

Why was Nowitzki hanging out with us instead of playing?  I asked Dirk and he said, very casually, "Oh, didn't you know the Warriors knocked us out of the first round?"

Now, that NBA dream of mine actually came true.  What will I dream this year?  I have it.  Deron Williams hits a game winning three in Game Seven of the WCF right over Kobe Bryant.

The Jazz then face the Cavs in the NBA Finals, where the Jazz win in Six and give their Hall of Fame Coach his NBA Championship at last.

What NBA dreams have you had?
