Both Junior dos Santos and Alistair Overeem are coming off of losses.

At UFC 146 these men were supposed to fight for the heavyweight title. That fight was dashed after Overeem failed his pre-fight drug test.

Finally the UFC has been able to book these two fighters again. They have a bout coming up at UFC 160.

It isn't a championship match, but it is still a fight between heavyweight sluggers. Both men have a chip on their shoulder and want to get a big win.

The UFC was very smart when they booked this fight. Here are some reasons why.

There Will Almost Certainly Be a KO

Heavyweights and knockouts go hand in hand like peanut butter and chocolate.

Both of these men are incredibly dangerous strikers. JDS has some of the best boxing in the heavyweight division and in the UFC as a whole.

Overeem has elite K-1 kickboxing experience which gives him a varied and deadly stand-up attack.

With 26 knockout wins between them, it's not a crazy thing to assume that at the end of the night one more will be added to that total.

Don't blink, all it takes is a single punch.

It Gives Both Men the Chance to Rebound from Their Latest Loss

Junior dos Santos is coming off of his first UFC loss to Cain Velasquez.

He also lost the title after being dominated for five rounds by the current champion.

Alistair Overeem returned from a lengthy suspension and faced off against tough Brazilian, Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva.

Overeem didn't respect the striking of Silva and it came back to bite him as Silva was able to drop him early in the third round of their fight.

Both men are anxious to receive a shot at the title and get back in the win column.

Only one man can rebound from his loss. Who will that be? Whichever fighter wants it more.

It Will Draw a Wide Audience

Heavyweight fights are some of the best to watch.

They are always exciting and you are constantly on the edge of your seat, as you never know when that knockout could come.

All fans love when a couple heavyweights go to war.

Add in that both of these heavyweights have big name value and you have a recipe for monetary success.

Junior dos Santos is the former UFC heavyweight champion and has a fearsome reputation for knocking his opponents out cold.

Overeem is a monster who can use his kicks, knees or punches to do damage to his foe and finish the fight.

These two men are sure to bring in a pretty good haul of fans, both at the gate and over pay-per-view. Book the fight and the fans will come.
