Tiger Woods and Lindsey Vonn Dating Rumors Abound Once Again
Tiger Woods and Lindsey Vonn may be dating, according to incessant rumors that will just not die.
Here is the piece from the magazine's website:
"Tiger and Lindsey have been friends for a while, and nothing started out romantically at all," a source tells PEOPLE. "But they really have a lot in common and got closer and closer. He still refers to her as 'my very good friend,' but he's been spending more and more time talking to her – and talking about her."
Last month, Vonn's reps kept mum about the rumored relationship, telling PEOPLE that her "focus is solely on competing and on defending her titles and thus she will not participate in any speculation surrounding her personal life at this time."
But the source close to Woods tells PEOPLE that Woods, 37, and Vonn. 28, talk and text frequently.
"Tiger really does want a woman who he can have good conversations with," he says. "He wants shared interests and outlooks. He is finding that with [Lindsey]."
The easiest and most assured way of getting people to talk about your personal life is to remain secretive about it.
The rumors seem to be flying as frequently as Woods' private jet. Back in January, Fox Sports reported on bizarre rumors that Woods was considering a reconciliation with his ex-wife, Elin Nordegren.
That same report cited that instead, the 37-year old golfer flew off with Vonn to Antigua and later visited her in Austria.
More recently, he let Vonn use his private jet following her awful crash, further heating up already rampant rumors the two were an item.
The two are remaining silent for now, guaranteeing the world will not. An easy yes or no would shut up the Internets, because we tend to get bored easily.
Now we will sit back and await the next stirring rumor between Vonn and Woods, which will no doubt feature the private jet which seems to be the third character in this silly tale.
