Despite recent reports that Oklahoma forward Blake Griffin will enter the NBA Draft, there are conflicting reports that he has instead made known his intent to form his own league.

Reports have Griffin talking about creating a league where all college graduates, as well as potential early entrants, can compete, while leaving open for a championship match with the winner of the NBA Finals.

"This is the only way I can continue playing basketball with my brother, Taylor, and in all honesty, that's all that matters to me," Griffin said.

He was said to be extremely excited and optimistic that the league could be started as soon as a year from now, and would largely consist of players and coaches that are already assigned to the NBA's current developmental league.

"That's all fine and dandy until someone gets hurt," said NBA commissioner David Stern. "This kid is an elite talent, could make tons of money for the league, myself included, and is literally throwing away hundreds of millions of dollars of future endorsements, fame, not to mention all the guilt-free sex he would get on the road."

When Griffin heard of Stern's reply to the news, he retorted, "I respect David Stern's feelings about my decision, as well as his concern for my financial well-being. However, my brother and I are the best basketball players in the world, and we refuse to be separated and play against each other, much less play a different style than we're accustomed to. Oh, and my sex life is fine, thanks."

Griffin seemed a little upset upon finishing his comment, but quickly removed his frown when his brother Taylor showed up, dressed in their future team's mock-jersey, a replica of an Oklahoma Sooners jersey from 1966.

When asked why the jersey was a replica from an Oklahoma team, much less one from 1966, Griffin scoffed and said, "Oklahoma is the best, man, and we wouldn't have it any other way. Me and my bro, we're together for life, and the same goes for us and the Sooners."

Other reporters chimed in, saying, "If you love Oklahoma so much, why not just finish your remaining two years, and then form this league that will so-totally fail? It just makes sense not to rush into stupidity."

"I've never been about relaxing, taking the easy way out, or playing dumb. This is what we're doing. Taylor and I talked about it, and it's a done deal."

The final reporter to question Griffin asked, "Then why even declare for the NBA Draft? Why not just keep this on the down-low, and keep your stock as high as possible, just in case you change your mind?"

"Shock value, baby. That's what the Griffins are all about!"

And if this ends up being the real deal, I guess we better believe them.
