Vince McMahon: WWE.com Releases Latest Updates on the WWE Chairman's Surgery
Looks like Vince McMahon's surgery went off without a hitch.
Last seen on WWE television during the Jan. 28, 2013 edition of Monday Night Raw, McMahon was attacked by Brock Lesnar and allegedly suffered a broken hip.
According to WWE.com, Lesnar's attack on the WWE's chairman was so brutal that he needed a surgery.
However, Jeremy Thomas at 411mania.com would later report that the WWE.com story was only partially correct. Based on a report from Wrestling Observer, Thomas wrote that "McMahon's hip problems are set to be legitimate," adding, "the storyline was so that Vince could be written off of TV and get the surgery that he needs."
Regardless of the reason behind the hip problems, WWE.com is now reporting that McMahon's operation was successful. According to the article written by the WWE.com staff, McMahon underwent surgery on Monday, Feb. 4, receiving a hip replacement.
Also released by WWE.com is a gallery depicting McMahon's process of receiving a new hip.

As part of a social media tie-in, WWE.com is promoting the hash tag #GetWellChairman—prompting fans to flock to Twitter and the WWE's media partner Tout with their wishes for the WWE's Chairman.
Ultimately it remains to be seen what sort of role the 67-year-old chairman will hold on WWE television once he makes his inevitable return. For his sake and that of his health, let's hope his in-ring activity will soon come to a stop.
A longtime fan of Vince McMahon, Luis too wishes him a speedy recovery. #GetWellChairman
