Random Thoughts on Sport and Opening Day…
I don’t know about you, but……
Does anybody else wonder if there is any thought at all in putting together the major league baseball schedule?
Hello, it’s April 6, it’s still cold. It rains a lot. Result? Rained out.
Might we wanna go Boston IN Tampa to start the season? How about Chicago in LA, and KC in Oakland?
With all the excitement the opening of the season brings, it’s not like you have to have a rivalry match up to create interest. How about we worry about the games actually being played.
Do ya think it’s about time Plaxico Burris hired a driver? He gets pulled over in Florida the other day for the fifth time in the span of a month.

CC Sabathia got off to a slow start last year (1-5 7 plus era). Do you think there might be a little heat in the Bronx if that happens this year?
Opening day of the baseball season is a special day, when fans of all teams believe they have a shot, as long as some may seem. It’s about possibility, and the hope that special things can happen, that this is the year. It’s about the onset of spring, leaving the cold of winter behind.
