This week’s edition of TNA’s Impact! Wrestling comes to the fans once again from Manchester, England, and there is plenty of action set to take place this Thursday.
No one knows how they made the journey to England—their motorcycles would have bogged down in the deep waters of the Atlantic Ocean—but the Aces & Eights are in the building and looking to make an impact in the main event against Sting and Bully Ray.
Add in the two titles on the line Thursday—TNA X Division and Tag Team Championships—and Thursday’s edition of the show is setting up to be unforgettable.
Where: Manchester, England

Aces & Eights Continue to Invade England
Despite its hideout in the broom closet at Universal Studios in Florida, the Aces & Eights gang was able to send over a few of its best men to invade Impact! Wrestling when it came to Manchester.
Question on Everybody's Mind: Will the Gang Finally Win a Real Main Event?
The stage has been set for the gang to look strong on Thursday—DOC and Devon will square off against Sting and Bully Ray in a tables match—but the possibility that TNA will put the bad guys over during an overseas tour is slim-to-none.
Hype Meter: 3 out of 5 Lackluster Reveals
There is no doubting how much talent TNA has and how much potential the Aces & Eights gang had at its inception, but several lackluster reveals later, including the worst of them all Garett Bischoff and Wes Brisco, and this angle is treading water.

Sorta Championship Thursday
It’s hard to tell exactly when Championship Thursday is supposed to take place, but this week’s edition of Impact! Wrestling will be a cheap knockoff of the normally entertaining episode of the show. There will only be two titles on the line, and neither is the world title.
Question on Everybody's Mind: Where Is the World Champion?
Conspicuous by his absence, the lack of Jeff Hardy in England and the lack of the TNA World Heavyweight Championship on Thursday’s broadcast is a microcosm of the issues with the company. The fact that TNA was forced to travel without the champion because of his criminal record (via Wresting Observer h/t Examiner) proves the man shouldn’t be the main focus of the company.
Hype Meter: 1 out of 5 Horrible Long-Term Booking Decisions
There is no questioning how talented Hardy is in the ring and how much the bona fide star draws, but that doesn’t mean the company should make him world champion. TNA likely put the title on Hardy to keep him from signing with the WWE, but when contracts begin to depict booking, the product is doomed. See WCW circa 2001.
