Huge new coming from the WWE Hall of Fame front, as Bruno Sammartino has been revealed as the lastest inductee for this year's class.

According to WWE.com:

At long last, Bruno Sammartino will come home to Madison Square Garden on the night before WrestleMania 29 to take his rightful place as a WWE Hall of Famer.

"Triple H contacted me and started telling me all the things that had changed and everything that was going on with WWE," Bruno said. "I started watching it after talking to him and when I saw it, I was very, very impressed."

For Triple H, the hall was incomplete without The Living Legend.

"I love the history of this business," Triple H said. "Without the history, there is no tomorrow. To look back on the history of WWE, one of the most important figures in the long story of where this all came from wasn't recognized. And that was Bruno."

I, for one, am happy to see the two parties come to terms on this. Let's face it, how can a company  have a "Hall of Fame" without its first ever heavyweight champion. The fact is, Sammartino is also the WWE's longest reigning champ, so not having him inducted was a joke.

Luckily, Triple H rekindled the negotiations with the WWE Legend and Sammartino can now add WWE Hall of Famer to his many accolades. Ultimately, Sammartino doesn't need this notch to his belt, as he is part of other pro-wrestling Hall of Fame's. Fortunately for the WWE, Hunter was able to convince Sammartino to come on board before it was too late.

Overall, I think I can speak for every wrestling fan out there by saying: the WWE dropped the ball with Randy Savage. Overall, this years class is one of the best in recent years. The fact is, it appeared the company's well was running dry, in terms of who they felt was worthy and who would actually welcome the honor.

Now, the WWE can look back at 2013's class and say that their team gave fans the best inductees it could.

In the end, if you live in the New York-New Jersey area and have the means, you should do all you can to ensure your attendance at this event as it will be a memorable one.
