WrestleMania 29: The Only Way in the World That Rock vs. Cena II Is Acceptable

"Once in a Lifetime."

That was the tagline heading into last year's WrestleMania. That was what WWE built up for a full year with The Rock and John Cena. It was going to be a WrestleMania event that would top all other WrestleMania main events, and in some ways it did.

Whether you love them or hate them, that night The Rock and John Cena did something special. The build, the hype, the promos, the jokes, the match. When it was all said and done, it truly was a once-in-a-lifetime moment.

Fast forward to this year's WrestleMania, which is going to be headlined by...John Cena and The Rock? I guess that WWE was just kidding with that whole "once in a lifetime" thing.

As a fan, I truly enjoyed almost everything about their match and its buildup last year. The Rock calling John Cena a bowl of Fruity Pebbles was pure gold.Their actual match, although slow at times, was good. The vibe and buzz around them was something the WWE had not been able to capture in years. Heading into their match, you really were not sure what was going to happen.

However, this time around, it's a different story. In my opinion, there is no way that John Cena loses to The Rock again. The Rock is most likely going to be leaving for a while after WrestleMania, so he is going to have to drop the belt. John Cena has already lost to The Rock once, and I just cannot see the WWE having him lose again.

Aside from the outcome of the match, there is no way they are going to top last year. Cena and The Rock spent a whole year feuding with each other; it's going to be very hard for them to keep this feud and their promo material fresh.

There is one way to fix this issue, though, and that is CM Punk. CM Punk is fresh off of a 434-day title reign, a great feud with The Rock and some of the best promos of his career. Punk/Rock and Punk/Cena were great feuds and matches, it would only make sense to add Punk to this main event. Adding Punk creates an air of mystery in regards to the outcome, and it freshens the buildup to the match.

However, CM Punk may not be available for this match due to his potential match with The Undertaker. CM Punk vs. The Undertaker at WrestleMania is the only way in this world that I would be okay with having a Rock/Cena II.

I believe that Punk and Taker could put on an unbelievable match. The possibilities with these two could be endless. Punk is on top of his game right now and has been for over a year. Putting the "best in the world" up against "the streak" seems like the perfect thing to do. Besides, if it isn't Taker/Punk, then who is going to challenge the streak?

When it comes right down to it, the WWE Championship isn't enough to make Rock/Cena II feel any bigger or better than last year. WWE seems to be trying to catch lightning in a bottle twice here and once again cash in on this main event.

From here on out, I am keeping my fingers crossed that a Undertaker/Punk feud begins, because their match at WrestleMania truly is the only way I could cope with another Rock/Cena main event.
