After Tom Izzo's Michigan State beat UConn, they have to beat or (upset) North Carolina.

Many people think that North Carolina is going to win the National Championship, because they have Tyler Hansbrough, Ty Lawson, and all these great scorers on there team. Well I think that Michigan State is going to win the National Championship.

Why, because they have players on there team that have steeped up such as Kalin Lucas. He only averaged about 7-10 PPG, until the tournament then he started averaging about 10- 15 PPG.

I think one way they can stop Tyler Hansbrough down low, is to frustrate him. As I saw in the Maryland North Carolina game Tyler Hansbrough only had 11 points. Maryland did a great job of playing great defense on him, and frustrating him. But North Carolina still has Ty Lawson and Wayne Ellington (scores).

Ty Lawson is a hard player to stop on the offensive side of the ball, but on defense very easy to take to the hole, or get open jump shots because he can't play defense. This means that Kalin Lucas, and all the other Michigan State guards, must attack Ty Lawson and get fouled, and put him on the bench, or give him free points.

Michigan State's defense is going to be hard to break because Tom Izzo his going to try to run a defense that is going to stop Ty Lawson from shooting, and Tyler Hansbrough from getting the ball down low in the post.

Also, Tom Izzo is going to run an offense that is going to try to make Tyler Hansbrough, and North Carolina's forwards come up, so that Michigan State's guards can take it to the hole and get two free points or get fouled and go to the free throw line.

This can also help Michigan State because if Kalin Lucas gets fouled when he takes it to the hole it will put North Carolina's big men in foul trouble, and this means that the points guards are going to have to help this team beat Michigan State. This is going to be hard because Tom Izzo is going play some kind of defense that will stop Wayne  Ellington and Ty Lawson from scoring outside or inside the paint.

Also North Carolina's last small threat to Michigan State. Wayne Ellington is not a big threat to Michigan State, but has great range from shooting outside. The way they stop shooters on North Carolina, such as Wayne Ellington, and Ty Lawson is run a man up on these players, and make them take it to the hole and get fouled. Michigan State is not going to give up easy points on fast breaks, or when they drive hard.
