WWE Manual: Greg Bush's Idea of How To Run Raw (Episode 10)

Hello and welcome to another installment of my WWE Manual. Let's get started.

Let's get going.

The show starts and fireworks go off. DX is in the ring:

Shawn Michaels: "Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages, are you ready for another Legacy ass-beating tonight?

"Good, because tonight, another friend of mine has shown up and wants to take on Cody Rhodes. Please welcome the one, the only, Big Man Kevin Nash! And someone else you may know."

Nash walks out to the NWO music and is accompanied by Scott Hall.

King: "Oh my God! The Outsiders are back!"

Cole: "I...I can't believe it, King. Kevin Nash and Scott Hall, formerly known as Diesel and Razor Ramon. They have just invaded WWE!"

Nash takes the mic.

Nash: "Thank you, Shawn. Billy, Sean, how you guys doing? Good? Okay.

"Folks, for one night only, maybe more considering I'm with another certain promotion—(TNA chants start up)—I am going to take on the young gun, Cody Rhodes. My friend Scott Hall will be in my corner. How bout that for a main event?"

Commercial

Chris Jericho is talking to his "partner," Christian, backstage.

Y2J: "That damn HBK. He interrupts my Highlight Reel and attacks me along with that R-Truth. Why didn't you have my back?!"

Christian: "Well, since you've been super-kicked every week, I thought you would've seen it coming."

Y2J: "Oh hahaha. Very funny. Look, until WrestleMania, you have my back just like I have yours."

Christian: Okay, fine. If you need my help to survive, I guess I'll have to help.

Braddock and Ziggler vs. Legacy

King: "Well folks, tonight the newly formed team of Ryan Braddock and Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler will take on Legacy."

Cole: "Well, we all know that these are both sort of new teams, but Legacy has more experience, especially if it involves Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiase Jr."

King: "But it doesn't, Cole. This match will be Dibiase and Tyson Kidd. Hopefully, they have better luck than they did last week."

Ziggy and Ryan walk out with great approval from the crowd. They are followed by Legacy, who sneaks up and attacks them on the ramp.

They attempt a conchairto on Ziggy, but Braddock hits both men with his Braddock Lariat. They get inside the ring and the match begins.

Braddock powerslams a dazed Kidd and applies a butterfly lock. Kidd is in extreme pain but kicks Braddock in the back.

He tries to crawl away, but Braddock pulls him back to his corner and applies an STF. He then tags in Ziggy.

Kidd stumbles away, but Ziggy jumps and grabs him for a rolling neck-breaker.

He picks Kidd up, but Dibiase distracts the ref. Kidd then pokes him in the eyes and hits him in the Ziggs. He tags Dibiase and Ziggy is in trouble.

Dibiase applies a sharpshooter and pulls him closer to his corner. He holds him there but he then lets go, stomps him out, and tags Kidd. Kidd jumps off the ropes for his elbow, but Ziggy rolls out the way.

Missing the elbow causes Kidd to stay down long enough for Braddock to get the tag.

He runs in and hits Kidd like a train. He tosses him into the ropes, but Kidd jumps off and goes for a DDT.

Braddock catches him and hits a Rising Sun (if you remember, that's Vito's old finisher).

One...two...not good enough.

Braddock sets up for the Braddock Lariat, but Kidd ducks and hits the enzugiri. He tags Dibiase, who goes for the Dream Street, but Ziggy distracts him and Braddock reverses into the Second City Slam.

One...two...three!

Braddock wins the match for his team. They are now 2-0.

King: "I don't believe it! What an upset by the new team!"

Cole: "It's amazing! And what a maneuver by Braddock!"

Commercial

Shane McMahon is talking to Raw Law:

Shane: "Okay boys, you don't have a match tonight. I just wanted you two to notice that team."

Bradshaw: "Why that team?"

Shane: "Those two were enemies two weeks ago, and now they've defeated two very strong teams. They'll be the No. 1 contenders after WrestleMania.

"I hate to agree with Steph, but she was right to give them a chance. They work like a real team should. I think a match between you two and them would be great.

"Whether you win or lose at WrestleMania, I want the four of you in the ring together."

Farooq: "Is that all, Shane?"

Shane: "Actually, no. At the pay-per-view, I know you hate the Bashams, but don't kill them."

John Cena vs. Randy Orton

King: "Well folks, tonight you get a sneak peak of the rivalry that will happen after WrestleMania. Randy has injured Cena's friend, Trademark, and he wants revenge."

Cole: "And tonight, he'll get it as he takes on Randy Orton."

Cena comes to the ring, followed by Orton. The match begins.

Cena is all over Orton. He wants his chance at revenge and he's taking it. He pounds Orton in the corner.

Orton stumbles out and Cena goes for an early FU, but Orton escapes and grabs his neck. He has the sleeper locked in.

Cena is out. The ref lifts his arm.

One...two...th, Cena holds his arm up and reverses with a head lock toss.

He then hits the Five-Knuckle Shuffle.

One...two...not good enough.

Cena looks ready to hit a Protoplex, but Orton pokes his eyes and kicks him in the gut. Cena falls over. Orton picks him up and drops him with his inverted back breaker.

Orton then stomps on Cena for awhile. When he sets up for the RKO, he notices a fan with a Cena sign.

He pulls the fan out of the crowd and tosses him into the ring. He looks like he's going to punt him when...

Cena hits him from behind.

The fan runs away and Cena applies the STFU on Orton. Orton almost taps, but gets the ropes. Orton grabs the ref and hits a Flair-like low blow on Cena.

RKO!

One...two...three!

Kevin Nash with Scott Hall vs. Cody Rhodes with Legacy

Nash enters after Legacy and Rhodes looks a disturbed by the size of the man.

The match begins with Nash picking Rhodes up by the neck. He slams him down and taunts Legacy. He turns around and Rhodes tries a cheap shot, but Nash isn't even phased. He tosses Rhodes outside and distracts the ref and the rest of Legacy.

While Legacy and the ref are distracted, Hall hits Rhodes with brass knucks. He throws him into the stairs and tosses him back into the ring.

Rhodes stumbles up to get caught in a Jacknife.

One...two...three.

Rhodes has just been annihilated. Legacy gets in the ring and stares down Nash.

Christian and Jericho run down to the ring to face off with Nash too.

Shawn Michaels: "Wait a second. You think I didn't know you little pricks were going to do this? Look around the ring, boys."

They look around and see that they are surrounded by the Golden Boys and DX.

Orton: "Yeah, so what? It's an even fight!"

Michaels: "Not really. Ladies and Gentlemen, one of my other friends, a member of Degeneration X."

Boogeyman's music plays and the ring fills with red smoke. Boogey comes through the middle and drags Kidd and Dibiase away.

When the smoke disappears, Orton, Rhodes, Christian, and Jericho run away. Dibiase and Kidd are tossed back out the ring covered in worms.
