Believe it or not, TNA Impact Wrestling will be going all-in with storyline development and feud building Thursday because there are just two weeks until the January pay-per-view, Genesis.

While there are some interesting angles already being built—RVD versus Kenny King and the development of Team Bad Influence—there is still so much work to be done for casual fans to care at all about Genesis.

As important as next week’s go-home show will be, the way that TNA handles this Thursday’s episode will make-or-break the build to the January PPV.

Where: Universal Studios, Orlando, Fla.

When: Thursday, Jan. 3, at 8 p.m. ET

Watch: Spike TV

Sting Returns…To Fight DOC?

While TNA gets plenty of complaints about the way they run the company—a point many fans see as "unfair"—the way that Hall of Fame superstar Sting’s return has been handled is the perfect example of what is wrong with the company.

Question on Everybody's Mind: Why Give Away the Reveal?

TNA wants to get as many fans watching the weekly programming as possible, and they believe that revealing that the mystery man in the 1.3.13 promos as Sting a week early will garner the most views. They should’ve waited to reveal it and let the mystery lure fans in.

Hype Meter: 4 out of 5 Sting vs. Aces and Eights Matches

Since the inception of the Aces and Eights gang, one of the biggest targets has been Sting, and after jobbing to a ball-peen hammer, the veteran is back for vengeance against the man that put him out of action, DOC. Sting vs. Festus. Yay!

Steel Cage Extravaganza

With a huge steel cage tag team match scheduled for Thursday featuring Samoa Joe and Kurt Angle teaming up again to face off against two members of the Aces and Eights gang (Devon and Armbreaker aka Mike Knox are pictured in promo), TNA fans should expect a wild co-main event.

Question on Everybody's Mind: When Will We Get Another Reveal?

TNA has been teasing Samoa Joe about taking off Armbreaker’s mask for weeks, but have yet to pull the trigger on the much needed plot twist. With Aces and Eights growing unbearably stale, the company must give the fans a reveal this week.

Hype Meter: 3 out of 5 Mike Knox Reveals

While the only way TNA can really save this angle is by having a memorable debut with a wrestling megastar, but there is no name big enough that wants to go work for TNA or that the company could afford right now. Hope you enjoy the reveals of Mike Knox, D’Lo Brown and Eric Bischoff.
