World Tag Team Championship

Latin American Xchange vs. The Miz and John Morrison

After weeks of backing out of challenges for their Tag Team Titles, the Miz and Morrison can not back of this challenge tonight against LAX. Before the match got started, Jim Cornette came out and added this stipulation: If the Miz and John Morrison gets counted out or DQ-ed then the Miz and Morrison will lose their titles to LAX. That stipulation definitely put Miz and Morrison at a disadvantage (at least from a champion's standpoint).

Hernandez and Morrison started the match. Hernandez just started to give it to Morrison right out of the gate. Just delivering big blows and body shots to Morrison. Hernandez began to stay in-control of the match for the first minutes of the match before the Miz interfered.

When the Miz interfered, Hernandez just threw the Miz clear over the top ring rope and onto the outside. Hernandez then picked up Morrison and Border Tossed Morrison over the top rope and onto the Miz on the outside. Hernandez then tags in his partner Homicide. Homicide then whips off the ropes and hits a corkscrew dive through the ropes and crashes into the tag champions.

When Miz and Morrison gets up, Hernandez gets a head of steam and dives over the top rope and scores with the big splash onto Miz and Morrison. The fans starts to chant "THIS IS AWESOME" after they witnessed that dive from Hernandez. Homicide then grabs Morrison and tosses him back into the ring.

Homicide begin to beat on Morrison more until Morrison counters Homicide and begins to gain the advantage. After hitting the standing moonsault to Homicide, Morrison goes for the pin but Homicide kicks out. Morrison then tags in the Miz.

The Miz enters the match very aggressively and started to beat on the back of Homicide very violently with forearm shots. Meanwhile, John Morrison begins to take off the top turnbuckle pad unbeknownst to the referee to expose the steel ring that holds the ropes together.

So therefore, the Miz picks Homicide up and hard irish whips Homicide to the exposed steel ring. After hitting the steel ring, Homicide just falls to the mat. Miz goes for the pin but Homicide barely kicks out.

Miz then drags Homicide to the middle of the ring and begins to beat on the back of Homicide some more, just hitting Homicide with high knees and elbow drops into the injured back. Hernandez tries to reach his hand as far as he can but Miz keeps Homicide from making the tag to Hernandez.

After beating on Homicide for the next four minutes, the Miz hits the Mizard of Oz to Homicide. The Miz goes for the pin but shockingly, Homicide gets a shoulder up. The Miz then tags in his partner John Morrison. Morrison and Miz hits a double suplex on Homicide. Morrison goes for the pin but Homicide again kicks out.

Morrison begins to take control of Homicide and of the match for the next couple of minutes. Even hitting Homicide with a spring board drop kick. After hitting the dropkick, Morrison sets Homicide up for his corkscrew.

Before Morrison can pull off the neckbreaker, Homicide counters and hit Morrison with the Gringo Killer.

Both men are now laid out. Morrison and Homicide begin to move at a count of six. Both are crawling to their tag partners. Homicide makes it to Hernandez first and he tags in the big man. Morrison also tags in the Miz.

Hernandez enters the match all fired up. Just taking out the Miz and Morrison with a pair of clotheslines. Hernandez then sets up the Miz and Morrison in one corner and hits a big splash to Miz and Morrison in the corner.

Hernandez then tries to hit the Border Toss on the Miz but Morrison takes the Miz off the shoulders of Hernandez and Morrison then hits the corkscrew on Hernandez. The Miz then goes for the cover but Hernandez gets a shoulder up.

The Miz then tries to hit the Mizard of Oz on Hernandez, but Hernandez powers out and hits the Border Toss on the Miz. John Morrison then interferes, but Homicide comes in and clotheslines Morrison over the top rope. Hernandez then signals Homicide to go up top.

Hernandez then places the Miz on top of his shoulders. Homicide then leaps off the top rope and hits the Gringo Cutter to the Miz off the shoulders off Hernandez. Hernandez gets the pin and LAX captures the World Tag Team Titles for the first time in their careers.
