Chelsea Drawn with Swansea City in Capital One Cup Semifinals

Just minutes after defeating Leeds United, 5-1, at Elland Road, Chelsea found out who their opponent would be in the semifinals of the Cup. The opponent for the Blues is fellow EPL side, Swansea City

Swansea also defeated a Championship club, Middlesbrough, in the quarterfinal round. 

The two clubs have played once already this season, with the result being 1-1 draw at the Liberty Stadium. 

The two-legged semifinal will start at Stamford Bridge with the return fixture happening two weeks later at the Liberty Stadium. After their semifinal clash, the two clubs will meet again in the EPL on April 27th. 

The other semifinal will put EPL side Aston Villa up against League Two's Bradford City.

Villa turned in a dominant performance last week in their quarterfinal with a 4-1 win at Norwich. Bradford City were the biggest story of the quarterfinal round as they defeated Arsenal on penalty kicks. The Bantams won their ninth straight penalty shootout over the Gunners at Valley Parade eight days ago.

Valley Parade will play host to the first leg of the semifinal between Bradford and Villa with the return fixture being held at Villa Park in Birmingham

The first leg of the semifinals will take place during the week beginning January 7th while the second leg for each semifinal will be played during the week starting January 21st.
