Dallas Cowboys Are Doomed Against Pittsburgh Steelers Says Tommy the Swami

Tom HorowitzJun 7, 2018

The Dallas Cowboys' "Doomsday Defense" of the 1970s couldn't do much against the Pittsburgh Steelers.  In 2012, Rob Ryan's injury-riddled unit won't fare much better.

"Tommy The Swami" has been sitting on the sidelines during this topsy-turvy NFL campaign.  However, when he sees the "Four-Star Lock of the Year" in the NFL, The Swami feels compelled to get back in the prediction business.

Pittsburgh Steelers -2 vs. Dallas Cowboys

After missing three games, Ben Roethlisberger was awful against the San Diego Chargers last week.  However, Big Ben is at his best this time of the year and will shake off any remaining rust at Jerry World.

It's been well-established that Dallas has no home-field advantage in Arlington, and you can expect  most of the noise by the fourth quarter will come from Steelers fans.

Pittsburgh's linebackers are also getting healthier, and this game looks like a blowout to The Swami.  You should happily lay the meager two points, no matter whom you may be rooting for.  It might hurt this weekend, but you and your family will be happy come Christmas time.

Single Plays:

As long as The Swami has returned to the playing field, he might as well take a shot at some less risky propositions.

Please note these picks are worth only a quarter of the value that you should pick up from the Pittsburgh victory.

You could throw out the Texans' blowout loss at New England last week.  But you should factor that game into this equation against the Colts.

Houston rebounded from its first loss of the season, also a blowout to the Green Bay Packers, with a thrashing of the Baltimore Ravens.

The Colts have been a great Cinderella story, but they'll come crashing down in Houston by at least two touchdowns.

Carolina Panthers +3 vs. San Diego Chargers

The Swami never thought he would wager on Cam Newton after he left Auburn.  However, Sunday is the time to take the plunge.

San Diego's lopsided win over Pittsburgh last week was a complete fluke.  You can be sure once Philip Rivers gets in another tight game, he will invariably go choky-choke.

Carolina and Newton are steadily improving, and you should grab those three points while you can still get them.
