With the excitement surrounding the 2012 Tables, Ladders and Chairs (TLC) pay-per-view through the roof, the WWE has done a great job building to a show that most fans thought they wouldn’t care about.

TLC has been properly booked.

With so many solid midcard matches and a trio of main events that make this PPV feel special, this is how the predictions for WWE’s final show of 2012 shake out.

John Cena vs. Dolph Ziggler (Ladder Match for Money in the Bank Contract)

With John Cena stealing two consecutive wins over Dolph Ziggler in the weeks leading up to this match, the general consensus is that this will likely be the beginning of the end for this feud, and Ziggler will be the star that walks away with the Money in the Bank briefcase.

Prediction: Dolph Ziggler

Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara vs. Team Rhodes Scholars

Despite the fact that both Rey Mysterio and Cody Rhodes have been off TV for a few weeks, this should be an exciting match that features plenty of great wrestling spots. As much as the faces will get cheered, the heels go over. Team Rhodes Scholars for the win.

Prediction: Rhodes Scholars

World Heavyweight Champion Big Show vs. Sheamus (Chairs Match)

In what should be one of the most brutal matches of the evening, the safest bet here is that Sheamus and Big Show are going to beat each other to a pulp with folding chairs. While the WWE will allow Sheamus to look strong throughout this match, it will be the Big Show that retains the World Heavyweight Championship.

Prediction: Big Show

Team Hell No and Ryback vs. The Shield (Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match)

The match many smart wrestling fans are most looking forward to is the WWE in-ring debut of The Shield. The trio of Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns will be taking on Ryback and Team Hell No in a brutal TLC match, and with so many unknowns leading into this bout, there is no match on the card with as much intrigue surrounding it as this six-man tag battle.

Prediction: The Shield

Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston vs. Wade Barrett

While the Intercontinental Title is still viewed as a secondary belt, a match between Kofi Kingston and Wade Barrett is exactly what it takes to bring prestige back to the strap. While many fans want Barrett to go over here, there are bigger things on the horizon for the English star and Kingston needs the win much more.

Prediction: Kofi Kingston

U.S. Champion Antonio Cesaro vs. R-Truth

While the WWE has started to build this feud up over the last few weeks, there still isn’t much of a story here besides the fact that Antonio Cesaro hates the United States and R-Truth loves his country. That isn’t much to go off of, but it should be enough to make this a match the normal fan cares about. Cesaro goes over after a well-worked match.

Prediction: Antonio Cesaro
