Nate Diaz is a Nick Diaz clone. However, like his brother, he is not the champion.

Nate Diaz did all he could, but winning the lightweight championship is going to have to stay on his list.

Let's be honest. Diaz, despite being in fantastic shape, was not the fighter that needed to be a champion. His boxing is great, his cardio is above most and his ground game is top-notch.

Even that couldn't put Benson Henderson away.

Network TV couldn't salvage the career that is Nate Diaz. Diaz is bound to be a fighter that fights for fan's pleasure, not championship belts.

Nate is still another guy that could make a splash in the lightweight division. Boxing, cardio, ground game and personality are the reasons this guy has a following. Not a bad thing, but he is going to need wrestling defense to keep himself at the top.

I would obviously not argue otherwise, as Diaz is a guy that could beat most guys. Diaz, at this point, but definitely not out. The fact that he can take a shot, hand a shot, show he is great and win fights shows Diaz is a guy to watch out for at lightweight.

Diaz is definitely a guy that has more vigor than the common fighter. Top-10 guys make him the man he is, but despite the fact that he is not the champion makes him look worse than he is. Diaz is still a guy that prove to be top-10.

Nate is a beast. He could be the best fighter that lacks muscle mass. He is a guy that could make anything he does fantastic.

Nate could be a future title contender. In the meanwhile, we can wonder. He is a dangerous guy that will join his brother in being a guy that is at the top, but not all the way there.

I would love to see a Gray Maynard rematch. It is the ultimate make-or-break rematch.
