I was fortunate enough to acquire an advanced copy of Bernie Williams‘ new album Moving Forward and instead of keeping it, as it is technically unethical to do, I’m going to give it away to one of my readers.
Here are the rules: In the comments section of this post let me know your favorite Bernie memory. You didn’t have to attend the game, but first hand accounts from the Bronx get extra credit. You also get extra credit for uniqueness of the story. So that probably means recalling his game winning home run during the Jeffrey Meyer game probably won’t get you the album.
I have sole discretion of who the final winner is. To be qualified, responses must be made in the comments section at Bronx Baseball Daily. That means our readers on Yardbarker, Bleacher Report, and similar sites must follow this link and post your favorite Bernie story.
The other writers from my site are encouraged to share your favorite Bernie memories as well, but you are all ineligible to win. Sorry.
Let’s say that this contest ends in two weeks which means I’ll be mailing this out April 6, 2009. On that note, you must live in the continental United States to qualify.
I gave it a listen the other day and it’s not bad. J-Boogie over at Baseball & The Boogie Down has pretty positive review of the album that you can check out.
It officially hits stores April 14 and if you don’t win and still want to buy a copy you can do so here.
Just because, here is a track list:
1. Moving Forward (feat. Wayman Tisdale)
2. Ritmo De Otono (feat. Dave Koz)
3. Songo (feat. Scott Henderson)
4. Addicted To You
5. Just Another Day
6. He Reigns
