Tim Williams, one of the most highly sought-after defensive ends in the Class of 2013, has finally made a decision.

The Baton Rouge native will be attending Alabama and becomes the latest commitment to coach Nick Saban's Crimson Tide, according to Matt Scalici of AL.com.

At 6’3”, 225 pounds, Williams already has the prototypical frame to play the defensive end position at the next level. He has been dominating offensive linemen while wearing a University Laboratory School uniform in Baton Rouge, and Alabama  fans can’t wait to see how he does along the Crimson Tide defensive line.

For his stellar play in high school, Williams was given a 4-star ranking by 247Sports. He is considered the second-best player at his position, the No. 48 overall recruit and the best prospect coming out of Louisiana in this year's class.

Williams had received official offers from 18 top programs across the nation, including Alabama, LSU, Florida State, Texas A&M, Notre Dame and USC. Clearly, it must have been extremely hard for him to ultimately choose 'Bama.

The senior has impressive burst to pair with his long frame. At the next level, he will need to add some bulk and strength in order to continue dominating offensive linemen. His quickness and agility are two strengths he will look to complement with increased power and polished moves.

We look forward to seeing this prospect starring in Bryant-Denny Stadium in the near future, and know he has a brilliant career ahead of him. Williams made a great call by committing to the two-time defending champs and will likely have a chance to go professional if he continues his stellar play at the next level.
