In one of the most highly-contested games of the 2012-13 NBA regular season, the Atlanta Hawks defeated the Denver Nuggets, 108-104. Al Horford led the charge with 25 points and 12 rebounds, while Ty Lawson put up 32 points for Denver.
The highlight of the night came as Josh Smith threw down a clutch dunk to show up Andre Iguodala and the Nuggets.
The dunk came after Iguodala had flushed one of his own, taking contact from Smith on the play. The duo of memorable dunks set the tone for an otherwise memorable game.
More importantly, the dunks set Twitter ablaze.
In response to Iguodala's throwdown, one Twitter commenter exploded as loud as the Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia was silent. Just don't tell him that you missed the dunk.

The following tweet commented on the obvious. That one is going to be on SportsCenter's Top 10 plays.

Not to be outdone, Smith responded with a timely finish that deserves some praise of its own. In fact, the And-1 finish was one of the most impressive of the year.
And it secured a W.
WNBA superstar Swin Cash was one of many to react to Smith's dunk.
WOWZER Josh Smith just did a grown man dunk on Cory Brewer... Ima need Brewer to foul him b4 he goes up. Trying to jump w/him= #fail

This final tweet pretty sums up this evening's festivities.
