Everyone is on Pete Boone's case for scheduling Northern Arizona.  Keep in mind Rebel fans.  This is the guy that brought you Nutt, Bianco, and Kennedy.

I keep reading Ole Miss scheduled two FCS schools they don't deserve any respect from the pollsters.  Well I say you are CRAZY!!!

Now do they deserve a preseason top 10 ranking?  Who cares?  It's not where you start.  It's where you are on selection Sunday.

If the Rebels some how magically finish the season undefeated or with one loss, they deserve a shot at the title just like anyone else in the SEC.

Here is Ole Miss's non-conference opponents:

Memphis, SE Louisiana, UAB, and Northern Arizona.

Now let's take a look at your pre-season number one Florida Gators non-conference opponents:

Charleston Southern, Troy, Florida International, and Florida State.

Yes Florida State is a big name, but they are no better than UAB.  Sorry Seminole fans its the Truth.

Now let's look at the Rebs conference Schedule:

Road: South Carolina, Vandy, Auburn, and Mississippi State

Home: Alabama, Arkansas, Tennessee, and LSU.

Now Florida's conference schedule:

Road: Kentucky, LSU, Mississippi State, and South Carolina.

Home: Tennessee, Arkansas, Georgia (in Jacksonville), and Vandy.

Now I could break down everyones schedule in the SEC and with the exception of Georgia (who's is playing probably the hardest schedule in football) they are all pretty equal.

So if you tell me Ole Miss doesn't deserve any respect.  Than I say no one in the SEC deserves any.  That's gonna be hard for me to believe knowing it is the most powerful conference in football.

In closing, Do I believe Ole Miss is going undefeated this year? Probably Not. Do I think scheduling two FCS schools will bump them out of consideration for a New Year's Day Bowl? Possibly. But should it? HELL NO!!!!!

Where can I comment?
