If the Minnesota Vikings don't make the playoffs this year, Brad Childress is done. If the Vikings don't get to (at the very least) the second round of the playoffs, Brad will be sent packing. So why are the Vikings being so quiet this offseason?

There is plenty of money under the cap and word has it that Ziggy has giving Chilly the green light to spend. Are they keeping low to make a big move on draft day or soon after? Is he seriously comfortable with Tarvaris at the help or even Sage for that matter? Viking fans have to be feeling the same confusion as I am.

Yes, the draft is right around the corner and everyone is getting excited. But for what? There isn't a player in the draft that will instantly make us a super bowl contending team.

Personally I believe the draft is overrated in this day and age with free agency the way it is. I would definitely give up draft picks for established, healthy good players with a few years of NFL experience. At least you know what you are getting.

The draft is way too hit and miss and most of the time you find your gems in the later rounds. If Brad wants to save his a$$ and keep his job, he had better get on it. I wouldn't let my career fall on with what the Vikings have at this point.

Sometimes I wonder why Tarvaris has still been given the chance to improve. Yes, at times he looks great, but then he hits a stretch in the game and I'm thinking to myself "did he really just jump up in the air and try to throw the ball?" LOL! We have all seen it in every year he has played. Tarvaris IS important to this team, but not as a starter, as a back up.

We will see as drama continues in viking land. I really feel the organization is waiting to make a big move on either Cutler or McNabb. Either quarterback will instantly be a major up grade to the team. Not to mention they will instantly sell tickets at the dome.

Offensive line is another story. Somehow Childress let that fall apart too, but the line is easier to find than a good quarterback. A lot of teams release veterans during the preseason and the vikings need to jump on that too. This is my first article, and this crap has been bugging me. I hope you find it mentally stimulating! LOL!

So until next time viking outty, word to ur mutha!
