ESPN's Jeff Dickerson passes along some promising news for the Bears.
Mike Tice said Matt Forte looked fine in practice today. Forte practiced in some capacity. #Bears.— Jeff Dickerson (@ESPNChiBears) November 28, 2012
Obviously, there is quite a difference from practicing in some capacity to playing in a game, but it is a good sign that he was out there at all on Wednesday.

Matt Forte's Week 13 status is in question after suffering an ankle injury in Week 12, according to CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora.
Matt Forte's ankle injury does not appear to be severe enough to threaten him long-term, though his status for this week in question— Jason La Canfora (@JasonLaCanfora) November 27, 2012
That was of little comfort to the Bears, who also lost Devin Hester on Sunday to a concussion. Their offensive depth has taken a huge hit in this game, though they have gotten a boost from the return of Jay Cutler at quarterback.
Given Forte's importance to the offense, the Bears can ill-afford to have him miss an extended period of time. We saw how bad things got last year for this team when Forte was injured.
We will keep you updated on Forte's status for this game and throughout the week as more information becomes available.
