According to Mark Long of the Associated Press, Jacksonville Jaguars running back Jalen Parmele left Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans with a leg injury:

Following the injury, Rashad Jennings began carrying the load for the Jaguars as Parmele was on a stationary bike on the sidelines, according to Chris Wesseling of Rotoworld.com:

Jennings has shown glimpses of what he can do since being implemented in the game, including his short touchdown run to give the Jaguars the lead.

Jennings has proven throughout his short career that he has the talent to become a decent fantasy football running back. In 2011, he was expected to have a bigger role as Maurice Jones-Drew's backup, but he missed the season after being place on injured reserve.

He recorded four rushing touchdowns in 2010 on only 84 attempts. The 27-year-old can also catch the ball out of the backfield, as he has posted 60 receptions in his brief career. That kind of versatility is valuable in fantasy, especially in PPR leagues.

With Jones-Drew's injury issues this season, Jennings has seen more opportunities. Considering Parmele's injury now, he should have an even better chance at finishing the 2012 NFL season as a running back who can produce in fantasy football.

In addition, Jacksonville has favorable upcoming opponents. The Jags face the Bills in Week 13 and the Jets in Week 14, two teams who have struggled defensively this year.

At this point of the fantasy season, being able to add a starting running back could be the boost you need down the stretch to catapult you into the postseason.
