Thank you for joining me here and keep an eye out for a match review later.
Cheers!
86'—Someone apparently forgot to tell Madrid that this one has long been decided.
The champs continue to press Bilbao in search of a sixth goal. Great effort from Los Merengues.
82', Real Madrid 5-1 up against Athletic and they STILL press, every player from the defenders up to the strikers press the ball. Brilliant.

62'—Ronaldo almost gets a great chance to score on the counter, but is blocked out.
CR7 has yet to score, but has been great nonetheless. His pass that opened Benzema up for Ozil's goal was superb and he has been sending shots on goal all night.
Most of his shots have been disappointing, but at least their on target.
79'—Bilbao substitution
Xabier Castillo comes on for Carlos Gurpegi who appears to have tweaked his hamstring.
76' Ramos booked. #realmadrid #halamadrid

Karim Benzema stats v Athletic - Played 73 minutes - Scored 1 - Assisted 1 - 71% pass success - 100% aerial success - 50 touches. #Madrid

Morata comes on for the Frenchman. Still time for more goals he will be thinking, as no doubt is a certain CR7...

So 5-1 to Real Madrid at home...No goal from Ronaldo, yet.

73—Madrid substitution
Alvaro Morata makes his second appearance in as many games as Benzema is sent to the bench after a man of the match-type of performance.
More on the goal
Madrid takes a lookse ball on the counter and Alvaro Arbeloa makes nice central run to free up some space.
The right-back lays the ball off for Khedira and the German midfielder sends the ball under Iraizoz to complete the route.
72'—GOAL Khedira!
Welcome back, Sami! 5-1 to the hosts.
70'—Madrid substitution
Angel di Maria comes on for Jose Callejon.
67'—Bilbao substitution
Gaizka Toquero comes on now to add to the attack, albeit too late.
Aritz Aduriz is the man sacrificed him.
61' Khedira comes on for Özil. Both players get a standing ovation from the fans. #halamadrid #realmadrid

61'—Madrid substitution
Sami Khedira makes a long-awaited return as he comes on for Ozil just after the hour mark.
Mourinho is probably thinking about their upcoming mid-week clash against Manchester City here.
Cristiano released Benzema on the right, who played it back in to Özil, unmarked in the centre. Simple tap in (though he fired it home)
— AS English (@English_AS) November 17, 2012
It's odd as just moments before, Susaeta ran into the penalty area and the ball smashes against Coentrão's hand. No penalty, very lucky.

Top of the net! Ozil makes it four for the home side. Benzema assist. 4-1 twitter.com/KayLMurray/sta…

More on the goal
Madrid respond to the non-call by starting a quick counter and adding a fourth goal.
Ronaldo sends a glorious ball to Benzema who had a lot of space to shoot, but chose instead to pass the ball off for Ozil who just taps the ball in from a foot out.
56'—GOAL OZIL!
55'—Bilbao are denied a clear penalty as Fabio Coentrao uses his hand to stop the ball.
53—Ramos looking for the brace as he gets very active in the attack and gets space in the box to take a shot.
His effort is blocked and sent out for a corner.
