Thursday, and that means we're one day away from Friday and the weekend. We're also no days away from the Tar Heels taking on Virginia tonight. After spending my weekend in Chapel Hill watching this team play live and in color, I must say I'm more excited for the hot wings tonight. We are also no days away from the Your Best 11 Mailbag. Like to read it? Here it go!

@inthebleachers Who do you think has done the best coaching job this year? Is there anybody that is a no brainer?

— James Vasiliou (@James_Vasiliou) November 15, 2012

Easy questions, only one answer: Mike Riley. Sorry, Bill Snyder but when your team wins 10 games the year before, color me not impressed by the same exact team winning two more games. People need to give Mike Riley all of their love like Led Zeppelin said in that one song they sing.

@inthebleachers Do you expect a "better" defensive performance from UNC tonight? UVA scored pretty easily on NC St.

— Patti Jones (@DrPattiJones) November 15, 2012

Personally, my favorite tweet questioner. She's just great. "Better" in quotes is clearly you trolling me. Of course they will be better because UVA couldn't score 68 points on air. That said this is a game that the defense is going to have to actually show up for the Heels. I think the NC State success was born out of the bye week and all the time they had to work together. This time, with a short week, I don't think UVA will be crisp but they'll likely find a big play or two.

@inthebleachers Can Duke beat GA Tech this weekend?

— sad ochocinco (@jfulldotnet) November 15, 2012

Can they? Yes. Will they? Probably not. They can score points but I don't think they are going to consistently stop Georgia Tech enough to make their point scoring effective. Basically, I see this game playing out a lot like the UNC game.

@inthebleachers can TOB unfold his arms?

— jmnpb (@jmnpb) November 15, 2012

Only when he's celebrating missed field goals against Maryland. Mostly because that's the only time I actually remember it.

@inthebleachers can Oregon's defense survive against Stanford's offensive line...

— Don D Dangerously (@DonDelarente) November 15, 2012

Stanford will put up some points, and given Oregon's real issue with depth on defense, the Cardinal might put up more than the 30.5 points they have averaged against Oregon in the last two seasons. Keeping pace with Oregon is really the only way the Cardinal are going to win.

@inthebleachers how does Oregon stop Stanford's rushing attack with its limited numbers on defense?

— Hutch (@HutchNGo) November 15, 2012

They don't. They haven't actually stopped Stanford in the last few years, they have just ran them ragged. This year will be more of that as the Ducks score on more of their possessions in the second half than the Cardinal.

@inthebleachers Bigger chance of happening, Manziel Heisman or K State/Oregon losing? #YB11

— Jon Grice (@Grice_Is_Right) November 15, 2012

I think we're probably more likely to see Kansas State or Oregon lose than Johnny Football win the Heisman. Although, the answer should probably be "trick question, it's a tie." If Kansas State loses then people will be falling over themselves to give Johnny Manziel the Heisman.

@inthebleachers who'll bite the bullet and hire Petrino?

— SMACdown (@snarkysmc) November 15, 2012

Someone that is desperate for their job. The issue here is how bad does an AD need to win. If he's at the end of his rope, he's got to make the grab for Petrino a lot quicker than a guy with a little wiggle room who can sell "we're too virtuous to kowtow to Bobby P." So find a desperate AD who might have made a few bad hires and is on the ropes, and that's likely where you'll find Petrino.

@inthebleachers ok...How legit is A and M going forward in the SEC? talking the next few years

— jason terrell (@AllStateAllTheT) November 15, 2012

I have thought, in general, that Texas A&M was a sound long play for the SEC. Do I think they're going to win it in the next few years? No. But I think they are going to avoid being the whipping boy of the SEC West and that's more than Mizzou can say about the SEC East.

@inthebleachers how does Vandy's defense matchup against UT's offense? They don't force turnovers & UT doesn't allow sacks

— Hutch (@HutchNGo) November 15, 2012

Honestly, it's going to be a long day. My man Tyler Bray is going to ball so hard. His numbers have just been unreal in the last two games; 934 yards and 9 touchdowns with 0 interceptions. Vanderbilt better lace up their boots, my man.

@inthebleachers best college football fight song.arguing about this in the office today

— Eric Reinhold (@eric_theorange) November 15, 2012

Let's be serious here. I only know one fight song by heart; UNC's. So that is, by default, the best and only answer I can give. Whatever the la, la, la words are to another song I'm sure it's great too with its drums and cymbals and whatever else they have in them. Trumpets?
