Another transfer window approaches, and that means a bunch of big-name players are already being linked with Manchester City.
And when we say big, we really mean it.
Neymar is perhaps the most coveted young player in world football at the moment. Manchester City have been linked to the up-and-coming Brazilian superstar (via Daily Mirror), with a potential price tag of £50 million.
Problem is, it’s unclear whether Neymar would be interested in City. What’s more, City are only one of the several clubs reportedly interested. The list of potential suitors is thought to include Barcelona, Real Madrid and Chelsea.
City are also being linked with Radamel Falcao, a Colombian international who is currently one of the world’s hottest strikers (via The Sun). But like Neymar, Falcao is reportedly wanted by several top clubs including Chelsea.
Finally, Italian international midfielder Daniele De Rossi is again being linked with City after reportedly turning down a move to the English champions over the summer. The Sun reports that De Rossi is valued at £30 million and that AS Roma are ready to listen to offers.
