5-Star OT Laremy Tunsil and Top 10 Recruits Visiting Alabama vs. Texas A&M Game

0 of 10

The Alabama Crimson Tide have a huge game this weekend against a very formidable Texas A&M prgram, and there will be some major recruits in attendance to watch these two SEC teams duke it out.

Head coach Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide currently stand at 9-0 and appear poised to make another championship run, but Aggies quarterback Johnny Manziel and his talented 7-2 squad are looking to play the spoiler role and capture a ginormous win.

As with many weekends in college football, this matchup has more than just football at stake.

There are some big-time recruits that will be at this game this weekend, and the result just may go a long way in swaying a decision or making up a mind.

5-star offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil will be making a visit, but he's not the only big recruiting name in attendance.

Here are the top ten recruits visiting this weekend:

Visit information via Greg Ostendorf of ESPN.com.

10. Altee Tenpenny, 4-Star RB, North Little Rock West (AR)

1 of 10

When 4-star running back Altee Tenpenny is No. 10 on this list, you know that it's going to feature some major prospects.

Tenpenny is a current Alabama recruit, but Rivals.com has him listed as a "soft verbal", so this could end up being a very important visit for both parties involved.

With the depth chart being so strong at the running back position, Alabama is really going to have to convince Tenpenny that Tuscaloosa is the place where his football career can thrive.

9. Alvin Kamara, 4-Star RB, Norcross (GA)

2 of 10

4-star running back Alvin Kamara is the No. 3 all-purpose back according to the 247Sports composite rankings, and he has not yet made a commitment.

He has Georgia on top of his interest list, according to 247Sports, followed by Alabama though,so this visit could be a very telling one for both programs in the hunt for his commitment.

Kamara checks in at 5'10'', 192 pounds and Rivals.com has him down for running a 4.55 40, so he'd project to be a very effective change-of-pace back for the Crimson Tide.

8. Kendall Beckwith, 4-Star WDE, East Feliciana (LA)

3 of 10

4-star defensive end Kendall Beckwith currently has Alabama and LSU on top of his list according to his 247Sports interest list, so this will undoubtedly be a very important visit.

Beckwith was also in attendance last weekend at LSU and he apparently really enjoyed the atmosphere, so Alabama is going to have to hope that he's equally as impressed with Bryant-Denny Stadium, if not more impressed.

Beckwith is the No. 2 weakside defensive end in the country according to the 247Sports composite rankings, and he's also the No. 1 player in Louisiana according to said composite rankings.

He's obviously going to be a huge pickup for whichever team lands his commitment.

7. A'Shawn Robinson, 4-Star OT, Arlington Heights (TX)

4 of 10

A'Shawn Robinson is a 6'5'', 302 pound 4-star offensive tackle according to 247Sports, and he's currently committed to the Texas Longhorns.

That said, Greg Ostendorf of ESPN.com is reporting that Robinson will be at this game as an official visitor for Alabama, so the Crimson Tide have a big opportunity and at least have the attention of the Longhorns recruit for this visit.

He committed to Texas back in February, but he does have an offer from Alabama, so this will be a very interesting official visit.

6. DeMarcus Walker, 4-Star SDE, Sandalwood (FL)

5 of 10

Strongside defensive end DeMarcus Walker out of Jacksonville, Florida is an Alabama recruit, and he projects to be a very good one.

He's 6'3'', 276 pounds and runs a 4.60 40-yard dash according to 247Sports, so he has the size and speed to be a very good player for Alabama on the edges as a pass rusher or even as a run defender.

Walker is only a 4-star recruit, but he's one of the more important recruits for Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide.

5. Bo Scarbrough, 5-Star ATH, Northridge (AL) *2014

6 of 10

Bo Scarbrough is a 2014 recruit, so he's only a junior, but he's more than worthy of being mentioned along with some of the best recruits in this current class.

247Sports considers Scarbrough to be a 5-star athlete, but he projects to be an elite running back if that's where he decides to play at the college level.

He's been committed to Alabama since September of this year, and he's the only player committed to their 2014 class so far according to Rivals.

4. Jonathan Allen, 5-Star OLB, Stone Bridge (VA)

7 of 10

Jonathan Allen is a 5-star outside linebacker recruit who is committed to Alabama.

He's one of the bigger names committed to their class, and 247Sports.com considers him to be the 13th best overall player in the 2013 class.

Allen is obviously a recruit that Saban and the Tide would like to see around as much as possible, so it's a good thing that he'll be at this game, especially considering he's from Virginia.

3. Derrick Henry, 5-Star RB, Yulee (FL)

8 of 10

5-star Derrick Henry is one of the key commitments for Alabama, and he has all the intangibles that would lead one to believe he can be a star for the Crimson Tide in the future.

247Sports has him ranked as an athlete, and at 6'3'', 240 pounds, listed as running a 4.54 40 by them, it's not hard to see why they consider him an athlete recruit. That said, it appears as if Henry will be best suited at the running back position for Alabama.

I believe Henry can be an elite player at the college level, and he certainly fits the mold of an Alabama running back.

2. O.J. Howard, 5-Star TE, Autauga Academy (AL)

9 of 10

5-star tight end O.J. Howard is an Alabama recruit that not only has a chance to be an elite player, but he projects to be a superstar for the Crimson Tide at the tight end position.

He has great size at 6'6'', 220 pounds, and according to 247Sports, he runs a 4.42 40-yard dash.

His combination of size, speed and athleticism lead me to believe that Howard can be one of the best tight ends in the nation as soon as he steps on the field for Alabama.

Howard is undoubtedly one of the best recruits at this game, and he's the best current Alabama recruit that will be there.

1. Laremy Tunsil, 5-Star OT, Columbia (FL)

10 of 10

5-star Laremy Tunsil is the No. 1 offensive tackle recruit in the country according to the 247Sports composite rankings and considering he has yet to make a commitment, he easily qualifies as the No.1 recruit visiting Alabama this weekend.

Tunsil is built like an Alabama offensive lineman at 6'6'', 295 pounds (247Sports) and according to his 247Sports interest list, he has narrowed his choices down to Alabama, Georgia, Florida and Florida State, with the Tide and Bulldogs as the leaders.

While Alabama always has to feel good about their chances in a recruiting battle, it's not like Georgia, Florida or Florida State are bad options for the 5-star out of Lake City, Florida. This visit is going to be integral if they want to eventually snag his commitment.

Tunsil looks like he has what it takes to be a great player at the next level, so this is obviously a recruit Alabama is going to want to make a great impression with this weekend.
