In case you were wondering: No, Cristiano Ronaldo is not as good at singing as he is at football.
The visual proof appears above. It comes in the form of a new Nike ad promoting Ronaldo's new clothing line. In it, we get to see the Portuguese superstar sing, beatbox, noodle around on a few guitars and goof off with Pepe, his teammate at Real Madrid, in a slick recording studio.
Towards the end, near the 1:00 mark, the magic begins. Clearly enjoying himself, Ronaldo takes to the microphone and sings a few bars before breaking out his best beatbox.
We're not going to lie. The Real Madrid and Portuguese superstar isn't much of a singer, but he doesn't seem to care, and neither do we. Honestly, what's not to like?
Ronaldo's having a good time. Pepe—whose normal behavior involves stuff like this—is having a good time. Even the guitar brand Squier, the second-tier Fender stuff, makes a cameo appearance in the studio.
The best part might be the new T-shirt, which is almost visible in a few shots. The front of the shirt bears the slogan, "Love to win, hate to lose," which is exactly the kind of bold, confident attitude Cristiano has been exuding these days.
Hey, if ya got it, flaunt it. Or at least beatbox it.
