Inzaghi Reaches Milestone Achievement As He and Pato Rout Siena!

Fillipo Inzaghi's predatory senses in front of the net had helped him reach an the extraodinary achievement of 300 total career goals over a career of great longetivity.

The 35-year-old forward scored twice, with his second taking him to the milestone. Strike partner Alexandre Pato also scored two goals after Andrea Pirlo converted an early penalty. Massimo Maccarone scored a consolation goal for the hosts.

"I feel a bit like a child. Today I'm celebrating an event that fills me with pride," Inzaghi said. "Three hundred goals is really a lot. I didn't have time to prepare any celebrations. I've scored five goals in two weeks that I didn't expect."

The Atmosphere at the stadium was fantastic and the away side wasted no time in creating defensive nightmares for their opponents, as soon as the seventh minute AC Milan had already gifted themselves a great chance to open the scoring. Matthieu Flamini on a mazy run was apparently fouled in the penalty area, Andrea Pirlo stepped up and made no mistake in burying it past the keeper.

The home side consistently pressured as the sensational Flamini bossed Midfield as if he were still at Arsenal, while Beckham and Pirlo orchestrated the attacking play in more advanced roles.

It did not take long for the Rossoneri to add a second as king Pippo lost his man on a corner kick to slot in his 299th career goal as a professional soccer player. His 300th would soon come but Pato got his first in the 55th when he scored in his 13th Serie A goal of the season from long range.

Beckham and Pirlo would later link up and Inzaghi ran beyond the Siena defense to shoot past goalkeeper Gianluca Curci, it was the most anticipated moment of the afternoon and the games highlight. Pippo had scored his 300th as he celebrated with the traveling fans while holding up a custom made shirt for the occasion.

Pato added some gloss with his second of the match in the 78th. Ronaldinho hit a long ball over the Siena defense and his Brazil teammate rounded Curci before slotting the ball into the empty net.

That was how it ended in Tuscany Milan stay fourth for yet another week as Fiorentina and Genoa both dropped points.

Ancelotti had this to say after the game, We did better than last week in the build up," Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti said. "Unfortunately we don't have a big center forward who can hold the ball up during difficult moments, as instead we have strikers who can escape marking to latch on to through balls."

Ancelotti, had welcomed back Kaka and Ronaldinho after injury, but was forced into an early changes when goalkeeper Christian Abbiati collided with defender Giuseppe Favalli the coach had to send on reserve 'keeper Dida, and Kaka who limped off injured again after a brief comeback. he had some rather kinds words for Pato also, enjoy

"Pato was sleeping for a while, but then he scored two goals," Ancelotti said. "He has to work on getting involved more, but he scores goals with the ease of a star."
