Kansas City Chiefs: Sports Store Cuts Prices on Chiefs Gear Until Pioli Fired

The Kansas City Chiefs not only have fans flying banners above the stadium pleading their case as to why the franchise needs to clean house, but one sports store with lots of Chiefs fans in the area slashed the price of Chiefs merchandise until the team wins or Chiefs general manager Scott Pioli is fired.

Sports Time, a sports store in Wichita, Kan. which sells Chiefs, Kansas, Kansas State and other sporting apparel, created a 50 percent discount on all its Chiefs items.

One could guess that it seems the store has a surplus of Chiefs gear in the back of its store. It wouldn't be a bad guess, considering the team's 1-7 lackluster performance.

Sports Time has a sign next to its Chiefs apparel and a note on its website saying, "50% off Chiefs apparel until they win again or Pioli is fired!"

The store recently changed its television spot, adding a graphic to promote all the discounted Chiefs merchandise. The Chiefs section of Sports Time's website left this message for fans before scrolling down and browsing.

Sports Time Fan Shop is frustrated with the Chiefs just like all the fans are. So, until the Chiefs win another game or Pioli is fired this year, all Chiefs apparel is 50% OFF each and every day!

Give it up to all of these Chiefs fans. They are not holding back and have voiced their opinions well. It's impossible for the front office to ignore this or pretend things like this don't exist. It's only a matter of time before the fans get their wish and see some much needed changes.
