March Madness is where legends are made, and there have been countless times when players become household names overnight.

From Bryce Drew’s miracle run with Valpo a decade ago, to Stephen Curry carrying Davidson to the Elite Eight last year, there are players that rise to the occasion each and every year. As you are filling out your bracket, take a long look at these five players and their teams when trying to select a sleeper in your bracket.

Re-Grading Offseason's Biggest Moves 🔠

1. Dayton Flyers—Dayton draws the No. 11 seed and plays Big East representative West Virginia in the first round, yet they have a very real chance of making some noise. The Flyers' 1-2 punch of Chris Wright and Marcus Johnson will be very tough matchups for the Mountaineers, and if Dayton can control the tempo of the game, things could be very interesting.

2. Siena Saints—Siena heads to Dayton as a No. 9 seed, and takes on the No. 8 seed Ohio State, in what could end up feeling like a home game for the Buckeyes. Siena is a very good team who flies under the national radar, and made noise in the tournament last year—upsetting the No. 4 seed Vanderbilt. A potential Louisville-Siena second round game would be one of the more exciting up and down games of the tournament.

3. Washington Huskies—Since the Huskies come in as a No. 4 seed, they really aren’t a sleeper, however they could give UConn plenty of problems in a Sweet 16 match. Washington has won nine of the last 10 games, before falling in the Pac-10 tournament to Arizona State. Watch out for Justin Dentmon of Washington.

4. Florida State Seminoles—Even before the Seminoles made their run in the ACC tournament, I have been following this team for weeks prior, and saw a team peaking at the right time. Speedy guard Toney Douglas is a big time scorer, who can get hot over a weekend and easily get FSU to the Sweet 16 by himself.

5. Arizona—The team that most said should not be in the tournament are in, and they are in the classic 5/12 game against Utah. While the Utes are a very good team, Arizona should enter this game with a chip on their shoulder, and if they do get past Utah, could surprise some and pull off another upset against an up and down Wake Forest squad.
