Today, a different type of article is occurring. This will be a rare appearance of a humor article written by up-coming writer Matt Miselis. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the laugh.
For all of you college basketball fans out there, if you don't happen to come to the family here at Bleacher Report to get the big-time news, you tune into College Gameday during the regular season.
College Gameday, just like in football, goes to a different court every week, usually its the best game of the week, sometimes if a rivalry occurs they go there.
Yet, I'm sure to get up every morning and be at my TV at 11 AM ET to see the show that happens on GameDay: Jay Bilas vs Digger Phelps.
Can you seriously ignore this?
I mean, let's talk Digger. The old-timer coached the fighting Irish for two decades, including pulling off one of the greatest wins in college basketball against the top ranked UCLA.
Phelps, just like the other so-called experts always give their analysis regarding the tournament, and how they can win the National Championship. Stinks for Digger, as unfortunately he has never won a national championship as a head coach.
Jay Bilas, a four-year player for the Duke Blue Devils, went on to the NBA with the Mavericks for a few years. He's been mainly an analyst for college basketball, and recently been commentating the Big East Tourney. Because of this, he believes.
Yes, both of these guys have tons of college basketball experience, feeling it on and off the court; however, they still try to get the top spot of who is the better college basketball genius.
Both of these guys think they can predict a good game, but can they for once be right with their predictions, especially in the NCAA Tourney?
Now, what really makes me laugh when seeing these guys go at it. Of course, it's the disagreements. They don't do it blatantly, but rarely do you see them ever agree on a prediction.
Personally, it must be smart, as they both don't want to be wrong on the same prediction, then they will never be in the Elite Class as both of them think they are.
Jay and Digger always are sure to bring their best friends to be sure they have someone to actually side with them. For Bilas, he brings his galpal Hubert Davis to the party.
Come on Jay, I'm disappointed in you. How much did you pay him? Why would a former Tar Heel get along with a Duke graduate?
There must be some information we sure don't know about.
Digger actually goes a smarter route. Actually, not that much of a smarter route. He takes his long time friend Bob Knight. What were you thinking Diggy, you should have went with Dicky V, my man.
Knight might have been a famous coach on the court. Not to be mean to an old man, but every time he talks I switch the channel to the Brady Bunch. Ah, the good old days!
We all know Knigt's head isn't there. His alzheimer's must be kicking it, as lately I have caught Knight off guard. I guess hes still looking for the phone number at the Kentucky AD'S office. Oh boy, Bob to the blue is a train-wreck waiting to happen.
Two weeks ago, on Gameday
