A draw in their next game will give Barcelona their best ever start to a league season, apparently.

That's ANOTHER assist for Cesc Fabregas - He's now got so far this season, 13 games for Barcelona, 4 goals and 7 assists.

Fulltime
How do you define dominance?
In the last three matches, Barcelona have outscored Rayo Vallecano by a combined score of 16-0.
Absolute dominance indeed.
Cesc is playing out of his mind right now!!

Messi has now scored 2+ goals in every game he's scored in so far this season. He doesn't just do single goals anymore. It's all or nothing.

GGGGGGOOOOOAAAAAAALLLL! Golazo! Leo Messi!! 0-5!#FCBLive
— FC Barcelona (@FCBarcelona) October 27, 2012
More on the goal
This is just embarrassing now and a bit unfair to Rayo as Messi runs coolly past the Madrid defense before slotting past Ruben from a tough angle on the right side.
88'—GOOOOOL Messi!!
GOAL FABREGAS!!! Pedro with assist this time. That was too easy. Barcelona 0-4 Rayo.

It sure feels nice to watch Barca and actually be able to relax a little bit! #Goals #vicaelbarca

GOAL! Rayo 0-3 Barcelona: It's XAVI with the third goal and that's game over, the assist from Jordi Alba. Lovely move from Barcelona.

83'—Sub Barca
Xavi is taken off for Jonathan dos Santos who will be ecstatic to get his first few minutes of play this season.
81'—Sub Barca
Alba's cross will be his last play of the game as he is taken off for Marc Bartra.
More on the goal
Before I could even finish explaining the last goal, Barcelona strike again!
Pedro runs down the right flank with loads of space before sending a cross into the box.
Fabregas is left totally unmarked and makes it 4-0 with a fine chop, much to the chagrin of Ruben.
80'—GOOOOOOL Fabregas!
More on the goal
That does it, folks! Barcelona will now head back to Camp Nou with three points in tow.
Jordi Alba does very well to beat Tito on the left flank and gets around the defender before sending a low cross into Xavi.
The midfield legend sends the ball into the bottom right side of the goal and puts the game out of reach for the hosts.
78'—GOOOOOL Xavi!
75'—Confusion on the touchline
A bit of confusion here as Paco Jemez has been sent to the technical area for unknown reasons.
It seems he was applauding sarcastically for a foul being called in his favor and the ref was unhappy about it.
The manager is arguing the call and does not understand what happened.
74'—Sub Rayo
Leo Baptistao comes off for Vazquez who is on loan from Palermo.
Paco Jemez is now out of subs with 15+ minutes to play.
71'—Nothing from chance
The resulting free kick is taken by Messi who sends in a fine effort, but Ruben makes a fine save to deny the current Ballon d'Or holder.
Min 71: Fantastic save from Martinez to deny Messi's free kick. #FCBLive

That should have been a red card on that Rayo player for trying to cut down Messi. Rayo played well, by they are now playing dirty. SMH

69'—Rayo sees yellow
Oh, Amat is lucky not to be sent off after chopping Lio Messi down in midfield.
Chori Dominguez gets a yellow as well for dissent.
