Mani Love Schools Former NFL Receiver Terrell Owens in 1-on-1 Pickup Game

Will someone please help Terrell Owens with his freshly broken ankles, please?

A tip of the virtual hat to TMZ for spotting this awesome video of renowned street-basketball player Mani Love giving T.O. a hard time.

We reported earlier in the month about a summer highlight reel of little person Mani Love dominating in the Venice Basketball league.

The 4'5" playground baller showed serious skill on the blacktop, and now wanted to take on a former NFL player.

TMZ has more:

Terrell Owens ... former NFL star ... stands 6'3" ... weighs 224lbs ... was challenged to a 1-on-1 pickup basketball game by a man 22 INCHES smaller  ... and LOST!

The epic match-up went down in L.A. recently ... a little person named Mani Love -- who stands 4'5" tall and plays for the Venice Bball League -- saw T.O. in the gym and dared him to meet him on the court.

I don't know if that actually helps his prospects of catching on with an NFL team anytime soon. Judging by the video, Owens can certainly stroke it from distance, but he leaves a lot to be desired on defense.

Not to discredit his opposition, because we have nothing but admiration for Love, who uses the mad skills we have seen before on an unsuspecting T.O.

Not that Owens was bitter about the loss, because he gave Love immense respect right after, offering, "Don't believe the height...little man got game."

Oh, we know.
