English midfielder Jack Wilshere sat the bench for 90 long minutes Saturday as Arsenal sputtered to a stunning 1-0 defeat at previously winless Norwich City in the English Premier League.

On Monday, Wilshere provided an assist as Arsenal's Under-21 side defeated Everton 2-1 in a Barclays U-21 Premier League match.

Coincidence? You decide. The video appears above, and for Arsenal fans, it will serve as more than the Set Piece World Football Video of the Day. It will be a source of hope in an otherwise aggravating time.

As we all remember, Jacky Boy has missed more than a year of playing time because of a pesky ankle injury. He is reportedly close to returning to the Gunners' senior squad and has been making appearances with the U-21 team this month.

On Monday, he set up what turned out to be the winning goal, which was scored by Arsenal's Thomas Eisfeld (Remember him? He was Arsenal's "big" signing in January.) in the first half. Wilshere cut in from the right and fed Eisfeld, who finished from close range to make it 2-1, a lead Arsenal held the rest of the way.

The entire move can be seen starting around the 1:10 mark.

Other highlights include Marouane Fellaini and his Afro making an appearance from a towering balcony around the 0:28 mark, another goal for Eisfeld and a shot of Arsenal full-back Bacary Sagna (who is also returning from long-term injury) after the final whistle.

So all in all, it was a solid day for Arsenal. Gooners can only hope the good vibes will filter into the senior squad.
