With Danny Amendola out due to a broken collarbone, Chris Givens will assume a much larger role within the St. Louis Rams offense.

He has already made his presence felt on Thursday Night Football, catching a 51-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Sam Bradford.

Now, let's breakdown his fantasy outlook and analysis moving forward:

Fantasy Outlook

Givens is a 6'0", 198-pound rookie out of Wake Forest. He notched 2,473 receiving yards and 23 total touchdowns in three seasons with the Demon Deacons.

His playing time and catches have been limited so far as a rookie, and in the Rams' first five games he has managed only four catches for 112 yards.

Those numbers will take a dramatic turn in a positive direction with the loss of Amendola.

Bradford completed passes to Amendola more than any other player—31 of them through four weeks, good enough for second in the NFL. Those catches now have to be dispersed throughout the rest of the Rams receiving corps.

Givens' production will ramp up, but it is hard to tell how much.

Brandon Gibson immediately becomes the No. 1 option in the Rams receiving corps, but that 51-yard touchdown on TNF was an indicator that Bradford is not afraid to go Givens' way.

Is he immediately worthy of a starting spot on your fantasy team?

Should you pick him up for your bench?

Not yet.

He needs more than one big reception to warrant a fantasy roster spot. However, Bradford likes to develop a "go-to guy" in the passing game, and with Amendola out that designation is now up for grabs.

Gibson is the guy you want if he is somehow available, but if Givens gets more targets next week be sure to add him to your roster.
