For all you that were already pumped about WWE 13, prepare to lose your mind at what was released today.
For years, THQ and WWE video games have continued to improve, but lack at one thing: consistent DLC. For the non-gamers, that means downloadable content, which are characters and such in the game that you must purchase to receive.
While some fans may be unhappy that you must buy these items, as well as the 60 dollars the game cost, when you hear what it includes, you might understand why it is totally worth it this year.
As always, the list provides with a bunch of new characters including the following new superstars:
A.J. Lee and Damien Sandow were announced at the roster reveal at SummerSlam, but some of the others such as Cesaro and the Usos are a pleasant surprise.
That wasn't all the new characters; here are the new Attitude Era superstars that are included:
It's expected that after awhile each superstar will be available for individual purchase, but for those who purchase the Fan Axxess will receive exclusive superstars Goldust and Diamond Dallas Page.
That alone is enough to make me want the Axxess pack, but there is more! Also included is the Championship Pack featuring many different championships, which I'm sure you can use in Create-a-Story or Universe Mode, as well as the All-New Moves Pack, which is a must-have for myself.
WWE 13 release date is nearing and I'm literally counting down the days until I'm picking it up at midnight. How about you? Check out the official trailer and leave your thoughts in the comment section below!
Although not featured in the trailer, it was also announced that Layla, Yoshi Tatsu, Drew McIntyre, Rikishi, and Too Cool will be available as DLC.
