Liverpool will be the visitors to Carrow Road on Saturday, and it's set to be an interesting game between two sides that have had a slow start to the season. Therefore, it's likely that the side that wins the key battles will come out on top.

But a stalemate is also a distinct possibility. Nevertheless, each side knows that a big win could really get their season started.

Luis Suarez vs. John Ruddy

I think that Suarez is likely to carry the biggest goal threat for Liverpool in the game. So, Norwich City's goalkeeper will have to be at his very best to keep him out. Both players will hope to perform well during the match, and it will be interesting to see who comes out on top.

Alexander Tettey vs. Steven Gerrard

A few days ago, I would have put Bradley Johnson in this place, but Tettey's performance in the cup was so impressive that he deserves this starting job. The midfield battle is going to be crucial in this game, and it is likely that the winner of this battle will determine the winner of the game.

Tettey must surely fancy his chances of taking on the England midfielder and hopes to show him how it is done.

Robert Snodgrass vs. Jose Enrique

Robert Snodgrass has had an impressive start to his Norwich City career, and he will hope to dominate the opposing full-back during the game. However, he will need to be cautious because Enrique is also a top player going forward. Snodgrass has to be sure that he is the one doing the dominating.

Wes Hoolahan vs. Glen Johnson

England defender Glen Johnson is one of best attacking full-backs in the Premier League so he will look to get forward at every opportunity to set up attacks.

Chris Hughton is likely to feel that he needs two strikers for a home game, but Hoolahan must keep his place in the side. The Irishman may be played on the wing, and he must push Johnson back to make sure he can't get forward while creating things for Norwich City.

Grant Holt vs. Pepe Reina

Holt is looking sharper with each game he plays, and Norwich fans are hopeful that his first goal will be soon. Reina will have to be at his very best to keep the Canaries striker out.

Despite his slow start to the season he is still likely to be Norwich's main goal-scoring threat in the match.

Raheem Sterling vs. Russell Martin

This young Jamaican is one of the most talked about players in the Premier League and the Norwich defense will have to be at their very best to keep him quiet. If he plays on the left-hand side, then it's likely to be Russell Martin that will be in charge of stopping him. This will be another key battle to determine the result of the match.
