Jacksonville Jaguars Personnel Decisions a Travesty

Since Jack Del Rio became head coach, the key personnel decisions have been a disaster. 

Unfortunately, there has not been a 1st round draft choice that has made an impact.  Byron Leftwich, Reggie Williams, Matt Jones, Mercedes Lewis, Reggie Nelson and Derrick Harvey have all either failed miserably or been mediocre.  You can not build a winner without the help of 1st rounders that positively impact the team especially those that got picked early in the 1st round. 

With that said, think of all the great players the Jags left for other teams to select.   

This together with the players they let go make for a average team at best.  Players like Fred Taylor,  Marcus Stroud are example of bad decisions. 

That isn't the only bad personnel decisions.  Free agents have been terrible.  The Jags have made bad pick after bad pick wasting money and missing on the talent available. 

That being said, think of all the great free agents that were available and the Jags passed.  For example, Drew Brees, Chris Chambers are just two.

But that isn't the worse of the personnel picks. Have any of the coaches that Jack has selected come from a winning team?  Loosing…breeds… loosing.  Hello, coaches that have the best chance to be successful are those who come from a perennial winner such as New England, Pittsburg, and Indianapolis. 

The Jags have picked, if not all over 90 percent of their coaches who have come from losing teams even those out of the college ranks.  Why?

Jags wake-up and select winners, players and coaches.  Players must be hungry to win, smart and football intelligent, team players with good character.  Coaches must have learned from the best, someone who knows how to win, and will not take anything less.
