For the third straight year Fox will showcase English Premier League telecasts as part of their NFL doubleheader plans. The ELP - NFL duo was a winning package last season for the network and so they have released the first part of the schedule and it is heavy with Liverpool and Manchester United broadcasts.
For those who are new to how this works the game airs live on Fox Soccer Channel Sunday morning's then it is tape delayed. If you are in a city where there is no Fox NFL game scheduled for the 1p.m.ET early time slot you will get the ELP Game of the Week.
However, if you do get a 1p.m. then your local Fox affiliate will air the ELP Game of the Week at 4p.m.ET, while CBS will air the late afternoon NFL telecast.
Fox kicks things off this week with a documentary called Being: Liverpool, a behind-the-scenes documentary featuring the Premier League club.
