Mike Francesca vs. the New York Mets

Mets PoliceSenior Analyst IMarch 3, 2009

I'm not all that interested in the Mets vs. Mike Francesca beef (Mike is accused of being un-Mets friendly), but it does interest me that it has made the Washington Post.
It reminds me of when Howie Rose was banished from the Mets pre and post games.  You'll remember that the Mets thought it was a good idea to have Todd Kalas buffer between the WFAN programming and Howie's Mets Extra rants.
It's a good thing to accept criticism.  It keeps you honest.  If the Mets win a World Series they'll find they are far less criticized.  Attempting to silence the critics doesn't help.
