McKayla Maroney and Aly Raisman left the Fierce Five down to the Terrific Three recently when the two went down with ainjuries during a celebration tour.

Larry Brown Sports spotted a video of the second night of the Kellogg’s Tour of Gymnastics Champions. At the 1:25 mark, you can see the first of two injuries sustained by a couple of sweethearts the nation fell in love with this past summer.

The YouTube description lends a hand to the times to pay attention to: "McKayla starts on the uneven bars on the right side of the screen at 0:55 and is injured at 1:16. Aly starts on the same set of uneven bars at 1:40 and is injured at 1:55."

As Maroney dismounts, it looks as though she lands a bit awkwardly and tumbles backwards. From our vantage point, it hardly looks like an injury that would send one to the hospital, but it was.

USA Gymnastics reports on the two injuries and states Maroney is, "undergoing medical evaluations and tests today to determine the extent of her injury to her left knee."

They will release more information once her tests come back, but the young woman who made an unimpressed smirk go viral is in good spirits.

She even tweeted this gem from the hospital.

Not bad for hospital food.. :)

This is the best that any restaurant diner could ever hope for in a review, "not bad for hospital food." Glad to see she is getting her requisite daily allotment of what I assume is food that is simply edible.

As for Raisman, she took a harsher tumble off the uneven bars.

She misses the bar and goes face first into the mat, making me wonder how the whole crowd didn't react to an obvious accident.

The report issues that Raisman has a couple of bruised knees and is getting the ice treatment.

Hmm, I am beginning to think doing gymnastics with the scantest use of light and blaring music might be a bad thing.

Why not just blindfold them at this point?
